Plastochem Fabrication (India) Pvt Ltd. was established in the year 1972 as
a "partnership firm" at Trombay, Mumbai. In February 1999, we
registered the organization under Company's Act 1956. Later in the month of
June, activity of the partnership firm, including all assets and
liabilities, was taken over by the company. Some of the key members in the
management team include- Mr. KG Nair (CMD), Mr. Suresh G. Nair (Executive
Director) and Dr. MPS Ramani (Director Technical).

Quality at Plastochem Fabrication
(India) Pvt Ltd is a mark of our consistent performance and long term

control. Our quality is maintained as per international standards and
entrusted in the hands of engineers and supervisors. We classify our quality
concerns in three categories:
- Primary inspection: This process includes visual &
dimensional checks of the products based on approved drawing, hydraulic
testing, anemometer testing and leak proof testing by spark tester.
- Secondary check: We conduct tensile strength testing, glass
content testing and lap-shear strength testing of FRP laminates and bond
strength testing of welded specimen/dual laminates as a part of
secondary check procedure.
- Guarantee: All our equipments are guaranteed against fault or
damage for 1 year from the date of commissioning or 18 months from the
date of supply, whichever is earlier.
Our production process is labour
intensive and we do not require heavy machinery to either meet the quality
standard or quantity in demand. Some of the machines we use are- Filament
winding, Lathe, Shapping, Radial drilling and Injection moulding. Some of

equipments and Plants for handling and treatment of toxic gases such as
HCl, Cl2, SO2, H2 S, NH3 etc.

- Material of construction: Thermo plastics (PP, PVC, PVDF etc),
thermo-set plastics (FRP) and dual combination of thermo and thermo-set
plastics.
